Our Aims

Springboard Aims to:

  • Develop academic achievement, skills, creativity, imagination, individuality and citizenship in all pupils.

  • Have a holistic approach to education encompassing emotional and academic literacy and creative intelligence.

  • Enhance the self-esteem of all pupils.

  • Involve pupils and parents / carers in the educative and therapeutic processes and build a successful partnership between home and school.

  • Prepare pupils for the transition to inclusive education and eventually to adult life.

  • Maintain the highest standards in Health & Safety and Child Protection Procedures.

  • Attend Social Services and Education Department Case Conferences and Reviews.

  • Offer individual and group counselling, working towards conflict resolution by a fully qualified psychologist.

  • Value every person connected to our organisation as an individual and respect them regardless of age, gender, race, religion, disability, or sexual orientation.
